Project a Successful Images with an Executive Office Chair
As I wrapped up the task of decorating my new executive office, a choice was made to buy an executive office chair that fit well into my new tastefully furnished office. I wanted my co-workers and guests to come into my office and realize that I was a successful executive, and nothing reflects prosperity more than a stylish office and a beautiful executive office chair. I remembered the saying “you only have one chance to make a good first impression.” Well that addage really applies in the business world, since an office is frequently the first thing potential clients see. As such, it should reflect the look you are trying to cultivate – I’m a success.
So after figuring out what were the important features I wanted on my executive chair, I started researching “executive office chairs.” Topics researched included materials, ergonomic features, styles and warranty information. One of the first items I decided on was that the executive chair had to be upholstered the finest leather and the color of the leather had to match the existing office furniture. Although there are many fabric choices, such as stain-resistant fabrics, breathable mesh, and vinyl; leather seemed the ideal choice since it is easy to clean, aesthetically appealing and long lasting.
Once the material and color of the executive chair was chosen, then other features were looked into that would enhance the room’s decor and provide optimal comfort. The executive chair had to have certain ergonomic properties that addressed features such as: Is the chair height adjustable? Does the seat pan feel comfortable and conform to your body? Does the chair have a comfortable lumbar support? Is the chair back large enough to provide ample back support? Are the armrests adjustable and cushioned for comfort? Is the chair well designed, attractive, and enhance your existing office decor?
The last criteria that was considered was the price. Sometimes you can’t put a price on comfort, especially if you are going to sit in a chair for eight or more hours a day, five or more days per week.
Well now that I’ve finished my homework and picked the executive office chair that best matches all my needs all I have left to do is sit back and enjoy it. I hope you will do the necessary homework and pick the perfect executive office chair that will give you many years of comfort, style, durability and functionality.
